Privacy notice

Draft subject to legal review
This text is a configuration draft and has not been validated by legal counsel. Before commercial opening it must be reviewed and completed with company details and the applicable mandatory information.

1. Data controller

The controller’s company details have not been configured yet. Provisional contact: legal@try-rankai.com.

2. What data we process

  • Account: email address, name, password hashed with a key-derivation function (scrypt) and random salt, active sessions, optional second factor.
  • Workspace data: sites, brand profile, uploaded sources, keywords, monitored prompts, generated content and versions, connected integrations.
  • Measurement data: answers from queried AI engines, citations, mentions, Google Search Console data for authorised properties.
  • Payment data: customer and subscription identifiers at the provider, payment status and invoices. Full card details and the security code do not transit and are not stored in our systems.
  • Technical data: application logs with a correlation identifier, IP addresses in pseudonymised form (hash) for security limits and fraud prevention.

3. Recipients and transfers

We use service providers for infrastructure, transactional email, payments and processing through AI models. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. The list of active providers is visible in the Admin Providers section and is updated when a provider is activated or deactivated.

The location of application servers does not imply that data sent to model providers stays in the same jurisdiction: flows to external providers are documented by purpose and data category.

4. Retention

We apply differentiated retention: editorial content and versions for the duration of the relationship; raw AI observation data according to plan configuration; technical logs for a limited period; accounting and tax documents for the applicable legal period. Deleting the workspace removes the customer’s data, without prejudice to accounting and tax obligations.

5. Rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to legal@try-rankai.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

6. Cookies

We use technical cookies required for authentication and security (session and anti-CSRF token). The public site does not use advertising profiling cookies. Any conversion-measurement tools are activated only by the customer on their own site, with end-user consent, and do not rely on covert fingerprinting.
